Young Josh is caught between two worlds: his mother and stepfather are Jewish, while his father and stepmother are evangelical Christians. With four parents and two belief systems, he’s expected to attend both synagogue and church—something none of his friends have to juggle. As his Bar Mitzvah approaches, Josh wrestles with questions of faith, identity, and what becoming a man truly means, trying to decide which expectations—and beliefs—are truly his own.
